This neo-classic mansion is located on Bishops Avenue which is
known as millionaire’s row. It boasts other extremely
expensive homes but this one takes the proverbial cake. It is a 12
bedroom home which spans over 28,000 square feet which does not include
further staff and guest quarters. Dinner parties must be the most
extravagant of affairs with a dining area that can seat up to 45 people
and if that’s not impressive enough, this expensive home has a
luxurious Turkish bath to boot. The house was sold for a staggering
£50 million back in 2008, so who knows how much its worth
today.
3. Witanhurst
This property is not only one of the most expensive homes in
the world and in London but is the second largest just after Buckingham
Palace! This Georgian style mansion boats 65 immaculately designed
rooms, a three storey pavilion and a ballroom fit for the queen. The
house was purchased for £50 million in 2009 but with the
extensive work that was done, the price would have probably shot up to
£95 million.
4. Franchuk Villa
Kensington in known to be home to a dizzying array of the most
expensive homes in the world. The streets are scattered with mansions
and luxurious apartments and the Franchuk Villa is just one of them. The
mansion is a converted Victorian building that has 10 bedrooms, a home
theatre room, a sauna, a fully equipped gym and a panic room. The
expensive home belongs to the Ukrainian president who bought the
property in 2008 for a whopping £80 million; the home is named
after his daughter.
